KKV: bronze casting workshop

Yesterday I spent all day at KKV (artist run collective workshops); preparing some stuff for my screenprinting course in summer, but also snooping around and being social. I thought I should share some of the things I saw (it's nice to not just focusing on me me me all the time) in some posts this week.

I'm so tempted to  take a bronze casting course ... but I don't know if it's just because I love the way the workshop looks: covered in a haze of plaster dust, worn down, well used tools ...

I have the feeling that that of bronze casting is hard work, but the pieces are beautiful.

The other day I was reading that is now being valued more sculpture than painting, for the work itself to cast the piece.
