more photos from my exhibition

Before the opening I managed to take some photos of my exhibition - and with a tripod even (though now I realized I should have used a level as well). Normally I'm too busy before an opening - and afterwards too tired. But yesterday the journalist from the local paper was a bit late - so I got the time to take all the photos I needed.

Everyone who came to my opening: Thank you!
And the rest of you: You can see the exhibition until the 8th of January 2011. [And for you who can't make it at all; get a closer look at the art pieces at my website]
the only one who dared to taste the apples I offered was my nephew Henry
- he tasted five ... and just kept smiling.

looks like a great show, would love to see it in person. I like the contrast of the white frames with the darkness of the images. Looks like a great space and a lovely show. Well done Alexandra!

Your paintings were intriguing enough for me to go to google translate and translate the title of your exhibition: blodrott nattsvart snovitt. So I got the translation as - Blood Red Night Black Snow White.

Oh if only I could just fly over and see it all in person!

que c'est beau! Tout ce blanc met si bien tes oeuvres en valeur. Malgré des sujets assez "in your face", on sent une certaine paisibilité. Et ce petit garçon avec ses pommes, il est vraiment mignon.

I especially like the one with the red dripping on it.

This looks great, Alexandra! The walls are so white and spacious, it really makes the blacks and reds in your paintings pop! Nice touch with the red apples! Congratulations, and I hope you get nothing but good reviews and responses!

Congratulations to you, Alexandra. Looks like a great exhibition, and I like the hang. So much work I'd like to be able to see with own eyes.

Hope you can rest a little now,

how great it is to come by and see more photos of your exhibit posted, to get the feel of it. I especially like the big twosome and that outlined girl. Snowhite I always like, but those two pieces hanging there, in the right plave and light, have been a nice surprise.
Your nephew is really cute and I was shocked to see his jumper: my girls had exactly the same one when they were little :)
