Yesterday I saw the Elsa Beskow exhibition at the Watercolour museum in Skärhamn. Her children's books contain fairy tale worlds. But the heat and the bright light of the day was very far away from fairy tales. It felt like two different worlds ... or so I thought until I saw the water lily.

water lilys are kinda magical... but i don't get to see any around here...
i understand what you mean... it's so sunny and torrid that I don't see fairies anywhere these days. It's hard to imagine them sunbathing...
