ha, this is ALL me! i love shopping and buying stuff at IKEA, but actually putting it together? nightmare. and it NEVER fits in the box when i have to take it back...

i love it! it looks just like the IKEA directions, only happier! why do the people on the directions usually look angry and sad?! I definitely prefer yours!
I wish we had IKEA here in SA, but we don't. I have only visited two IKEAS ever - one outside Prague, and one in Germany - and if I could afford a container, I would have shipped quite a few things home! (PS When I first looked at your illustration thought it would be quite funny if one could buy families from IKEA, and then take them back if one couldn't work out how to put them together!)

I agree with leni, your family looks a lot happier than most of the families I see at IKEA with kids running around, getting lost, couples arguing about the color of sofa... very funny drawing!
